LoL Patch Notes
The current competitive patch is 26.20, published by Riot on October 7, 2026. Worlds 2026 is locked to it. The matching public game data is client 16.20.1. Older notes stay on the official site. This page tracks the patch you queue into today.
What a patch day changes for a player
Ranked does not always lock for the full deploy window, but the shop, champion stats, and item passives update when the client forces a restart. If your client version is behind 16.20.1, finish the patch before you trust a build from last week. Rocketbelt, Hexplate, and Runaan's Hurricane changed even if your champion was not on the list.
Champion-by-champion numbers are on the 16 kits Riot edited. The tier list only ranks those movements, not a scraped win-rate board.
